March 30, 1982 the CGT resist dictatorship throughout the country.
murdered at Cro.B.Ortiz in Mendoza.
March 30, 1982, the CGT workers grouped in Brazil and under the leadership of Saul Ubaldini called a day of protest throughout the CFlos country. embraced by leaders came up Avenida de Mayo 9 de Julio and behind hundreds of activistas.Domingo Cornejo, Fermin Chavez, O. Guglielmino ... The march pretended to deliver a document in Casa Rosada. Repression is a very tough start. For hours we had to run and shake to despair. So
happened throughout the country. Outrageous chased and beat up those who walked or came out of the office. Transcended the brutal image inside and outside the country.
The CGT had shown that they were to leave the government, which nothing was the same, who had reached the level of organization to harass them enough to throw them out. It was free because Benedict Ortiz, in Mendoza, paid with his life the onslaught.
The Argentine Labor Movement made the March 30, 1982 a day as important as those in the late 60s, early 70s, destabilized other dictatorships.
However, the last resistance remains even, half-hidden. Go to this contribution to make them visible.
The belief persists that the military began the process not anyone who left all alone.
said Eva Peron Peronism is not a doctrine but a mood that feels and then understood. In light of positivism, the phrase seems silly.

On Friday March 30, 1982 was sunny and cool. The city of La Plata had dawned under siege. He lived by that date, two blocks from the provincial government house, where they had stationed tanks and assault of police trucks with soldiers.
Together with two friends, also 17, from the previous week, we decided to participate in the march of the CGT. Most do mess that really understood what was happening. I would be able of a few lines to express the degree of ignorance and lack of news there was. We knew nothing, but had to go to the Plaza.

Later I learned how in every workplace delegates who had survived organized lists and more colleagues who would go on buses and trains to Plaza de Mayo . In my city, gathered at Plaza Italia, rather than recovering the local labor movement. We went to a micro

remember 27 years later to observe the impression miles of groups that were added in Florencio Varela, Quilmes and Avellaneda. There I fell in love with Peronism. In a group of Peronist FJC did me.
When we got to Lower, off San Juan Avenue Capital, we join a column, I believe, Security Workers and went with them to the Plaza singing the Peronist march. In two hours, without having read nothing, knowing nothing, I became a Peronist. Then I also knew that the repression had begun earlier and people were pushing to open the streets and reach.
Photo Silvio Zuccheri I think the feeling I had was not fear, but, paradoxically, of euphoria. Running around the streets of San Telmo, avoiding tear gas, rubber bullets and batons Federal Cavalry old Saul Ubaldini me about who I know, as I explained how to make me go to the Constitution Plata.
Human Rights Organizations Adolfo Perez Esquivel in the lead trying to get to Casa Rosada to deliver a petition.
I went on a train packed with protesters, singing National Anthem and the Peronist march. That night the news reported the murder of two workers, one in Mendoza, Joseph Benedict Ortiz, textile worker and trade unionist, and that of Salta Dalmiro Flores, mechanical workers, killed in front of the Cabildo. According to the official
Flores "did not comply with the high voice that gave him" a civilian police got out of a green Ford Falcon. Ascencio Flores, Dalmiro's father, said his son "did not hear the high voice because he was deaf." The event yielded more than 2500 injured and about 4000 arrested throughout the country.
The background
In April 1979 the CGT ordered the first general strike against the government. The country is paralyzed, there are cuts on streets and roads and camp in the factory gates. It was so massive that the government preferred to obviate and minimize it impossible to suppress.
Although the pilgrimage to Lujan 1979, involving more than one million young people were under the slogan "United to announce Maria Jesus", the posters of the parishes and groups of students and workers ask for Peace and Work with a wink complicity on the part of the church hierarchy in relation to the impending conflict with Chile.
general strike on July 22 1981, Brazil organized by the CGT is successful. There repression in Mendoza, San Miguel de Tucumán, Rosario, Córdoba and Avellaneda.
On November 7, 1981, a demonstration through the streets of Liniers culminates in an act of more than 20,000 people at the Church of San Cayetano, which is taken to the Labour Movement the old slogan "Peace. Bread and Work there is a major crackdown with hundreds of detainees.
Review of Luis A. Fermosel.
The city center of Buenos Aires there were at least three hours of violent clashes between protesters who tried to reach the Plaza de Mayo, and hundreds of police stationed in various places in the city. Security forces attacked not only those who were members of the columns of protesters, they also arrested three journalists (one of them in a U.S. television network) and three photojournalists. One of the problems facing the military focused on the grassroots groups were assembled and quickly dissolved in different corners, to reappear again and again at close range, thus improvising a tactic that forced the police to step up its action and tighten repression.
Those arrested included the then secretary general of the national CGT, Saul Ubaldini, and five members of the board, the Nobel Peace Prize Adolfo Perez Esquivel, with a group of mothers of Plaza de Mayo, Carlos Saul Menem, along with three members of the female branch of the PJ, while from the Radical Civic Union, which had also officially joined the march, denounced the arrest of the leader Juan Carlos Zambarieri. Elsewhere in the country also there was repression, as in the cities of Cordoba and Rosario, but in all these cases there was little consideration wounded.
