To commemorate 80th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished Peruvian writer Julio Ramón Ribeyro and 15 years after his death, the Centro Cultural Inca Garcilaso de la Chancellery will open Aug. 12 at 7 pm a documentary exhibition and two conversations - Featured by four narrators of the life and work of the author. The appointment is on Jiron Ucayali 391, Lima and admission is free.

The exhibition includes books, manuscripts and personal belongings of the writer as the board and the chess pieces with chess playing and the typewriter he used during the 30 years he lived in France. It will also feature artwork by the painter Henry Polanco, 66 photographs and a video documentary with interviews with friends and family of the author of "The word the dumb ", produced by the Centro Cultural Inca Garcilaso and the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University of San Martín de Porres.
Among the books to be displayed will be the first editions of his short stories, novels and drama, as well as studies that have been made about his work, which stands not only for its narrative quality as in "The vultures without feathers "and" Silvio in the Rose Garden ', but also by the constant search for new literary forms such as in "Prose stateless", a collection of short prose reflections on life and literature, and "The Temptation of failure," his personal diary.
